Walking:
- From our house we set up several hiking routes, from 30mn up to 5 hours that go through forests and moorlands with many views on the Vosges Mountains. No noise from traffic, just tranquility and beauty of the mountain nature. Deer, foxes and wild flowers. Kite flying.
- The GR5 and other hiking routes on the Route des Crêtes. Walking maps are available and we will be happy to give you tips from our own walking experience and recommendations on pathways and nice mountain hut terraces.

Cycling:
- Maps are available and we will be happy to give you recommendations on beautiful, serious and less serious climbing routes. The Route de Crêtes” and all the famous cols of the Vosges and of the Alsace are in our area, the possibilities are endless.
- A covered and lockable bike shed is available, we also provide an area with enough space to repair a bicycle. Water point for clean-up.

Mountain biking:
- Maps are available and we will be happy to give you some tips and recommendations on beautiful, serious and less serious climbing routes. The Route de Crêtes and other ATP-routes are in our area, the possibilities are unlimited.Boven ons huis loopt de VTT-9, een (zwarte) piste die naar Gérardmer leidt.
- Just next to our home is the (difficult) VTT-9 route that goes all the way to Gérardmer. A covered and lockable bike shed is available, we also provide an area with enough space to repair your bicycle . Water-point for clean-up.

Motorbikes:
- The climbing routes, the mountain passes, the Alsatian villages, the wine routes and the beautiful mountain views, make this a natural paradise for motorbikes. The possibilities are endless. We will gladly share our personal “must do” routes and recommend our favorite mountain huts for drinks and lunch.

Wintersporten:
We provide a heated area for skiing equipment and furthermore our entire hostel is fully equipped with central heating. In the bedrooms and in the gîtes it will be possible to adjust the temperature to your liking with each thermostat.
Skiing:
- The ski resorts of Gérardmer and those of the Lac Blanc, the Bonhomme and Hohneck are perfect resorts for beginners but also for advanced skiers. They are within 30mn from our hostel. 65km of ski slopes.Het skigebied van La Bresse is wat groter en uitgebreider en heeft uitdagender pistes. Op ruim een half uur rijden. 32 km pistes.
- The ski resort of La Bresse is somewhat bigger and more extended and has more challenging slopes. It is 30mn away from us. 32 km of ski slopes. Maps of all local ski resorts are available and we will be happy to give you recommendations on beautiful, difficult and less difficult slopes.

- From the skiing area near the Bonhomme to the skiing area of La Bresse there are plenty of cross-country skiing trails, doubled tracks for classic as well as for free style. Most of them are within 30mn from our hostel. In total there are about 150 km of well-kept tracks. - From our B&B it is possible to go directly on one of the extended snowshoe-trails. From the skiing area near the Bonhomme to the skiing area of La Bresse there are many trails along the Route de Crêtes. Most of them are within 30mn from our hostel.
